DPIZZA HUT - The Pizza Hut Restaurant in Belleville , On. holds a reputation for great food,
               service and prices. The staff that work there can tell you about something even
               stranger. During the early morning hours some staff have been bothered by a
               spirit. He follows them around and bothers them so much that they sometimes
               leave the premises until more staff members come in for work.

                  The building that now houses Pizza Hut has been 4 other restaurants in it long
               history. When it was first constructed as a Chinese food restaurant they built 5
               floors underground. The first two underground floors were enormous banquet
               rooms. The next floor down was staff and banquet room bathrooms, staff lounge,
               and banquet storage. The fourth and fifth floors were concrete rooms that housed
               storage, offices, records, and electrical boxes. In it's hay day, it was the talk of
               the town.

                  After the Chinese restaurant closed, a new restaurant moved in. They had a
               small fire in the lower floors and constant flooding problems forced them to
               sell. Shortly after the fire another restaurant set up shop.

                  The new business drained the lower floors, removed the garbage, and started
               to repair the fire damage. The Banquet rooms and 3rd floor were re-opened. The
               business flourished for 5 years until a fire tore through the lower floors. They
               decided to pack up shop. The property was boarded up and left to the elements.

                  3 years later a fine dining establishment moved in. The old place got a fresh
               new Moroccan face lift. They stayed for about 3 years until they also left. Once
               again the place was boarded up. For years teenagers and transients would break
               in and party or move in. They would break furniture , start fires, grafitti walls,
               and break the toilets and sinks. During this time another fire broke out. Nobody
               was found in the Building and it was chalked up to Arson.

                   Pizza Hut moved in to the building in the 90's. They don't use any of the bottom
               4 floors but they use the lower first floor for storage. Over the years strange
               things started to occur in the restaurant. Employees and customers started to
               report a spirit. He is a older gentleman, very tall and skinny, with sad eyes. He
               is mostly active between 3 and 7 A.M. . People think that he was a transient that
               passed way on one of the lower floors in the buildings past.

                   He has been seen either sitting in the middle window of the dining room or
               in the kitchen following the early morning staff. He is not mean just extremely
               curious. He will be in front of you one minute, then behind you looking over your
               shoulder.

                   The falling is an interview conducted with an employee that seems to be
               the person the spirit " likes " the most. The individuals name has been omitted.

                    Interview # 7 - Pizza Hut employee - Sep. 4 2002 3:00 P.M.

                    " I remember the first time I saw " Him " . It was my second early morning
                     shift. Myself and 1 other employee showed up at 5:30 in the morning. He
                     was use to the shift and joked to me saying "first ones in first ones out".
                     I groaned as I opened the door. The restaurant was cold that morning but
                     I chalked it up to me still being half awake. We set off to work and my
                     body started to warm up after my third cup of coffee. We had finished
                     our first batch of dough and decided to take a smoke break. We bundled up
                     and stepped out the back door into the snow. We went back inside and as
                     I walked back to the sink to wash my hands, out of the corner of my eye,
                     I caught my co -worker sitting in the dining room. I giggled to myself and
                     decided that I would sneak up on him and scare him. I continued around the
                     corner and felt a tap on my shoulder. " Where are you going slacker?" my
                     co - worker laughed. I froze and felt my heart pounding in my chest. As
                     I turned around my co-worker asked "are you alright?" I asked him how he
                     got behind me so fast from the dinging room? He looked at me like I had
                     3 heads? "I was back here the whole time" he replied. He giggled again and
                     said "Oh . . you just met the ghost !" I punched his arm and replied "that's
                     a good one you got me". My co -worker than told me about the resident
                     spirit. Since that time the spirit has taken a liking to me. He follows
                     me around so much that I have to tell him to leave or I have to leave.
                     The Spirit seems to just hang out and be a pest. It sure livens up your
                     Mornings. No Coffee Required ! !

                   John conducted an investigation in late May 2002. He and two of his roommates
               descended into the dark lower floors. Earlier in the day John took temperature
               and EMF readings, as well as pictures. When returned at 1 A.M. we started to feel
               cold spots. John and company went to the lowest floor first. It was destroyed.
               In one room the EMF detector registered 8 - 9 and was squealing. It was coming
               from a spot on the floor about 2 feet wide in a dark corner. The temperature
               dropped 15 degrees in about a minute but it was confined to the dark corner.

                   We continued in the darkness floor by floor and the cold followed us. John
               also caught some interesting orbs and shadows on film. John's stomach was in
               knots as he flushed white saying many times, " he is so close . . I can Feel Him
               right Between us . . Circling us . . Running Ahead And Waiting . . " It was a
               long night for John but he said it was well worth it.

                    So if you happen to be driving by the store in the early morning hours,
               take a look in the windows. You just might catch a glimpse of the restaurants
               " permanent " resident.
